Huge Swell hit the Fijian Island’s during the Volcom Pro with 20ft.+ sets. If you were one of the lucky ones that caught the action live via Volcom webcast, you scored a great show! Water Patrol was on hand the entire time to make several rescues with people coming up after a wipeout saying “they had no idea where they were or what was going on,” it was just one of those days.
Not only did the big wave chargers surf, but a lot of the World Tour Surfers paddled out such as: Parko, Fanning, John John, Yadin Nicol, Ace Buchan, Pat Gudauskas, CJ and Damien Hobgood, and Mitch Coleborn joined the gnarliest big wave riders in the world in what can only be called a historical day of surfing.
