Brings back memories. I lived in OB for a year when I was Eighteen. Moved there from Florida. My three buddies and me hired on to deliver a car for someone that had moved there.
We were so stoked to be leaving Florida to live in Southern California, we drove 50 hours straight, taking turns driving / sleeping until we landed in Ocean Beach @ 5:30 am. A couple (more) cups of coffee while the sun came up over the hills behind us and we were into head high bliss!
I ended up staying in SoCal for nearly 10 years
